You do not need a GP or another doctor’s referral letter to be seen at The Hormone Centre. The majority of women self-refer and do not need a letter.

If you have any blood test results or letters from previous relevant medical consultations please bring these with you when you attend your appointment. Alternatively, you can email us and we can send you a secure link so you can upload documents onto our patient IT system.

Will my GP be notified that I have been seen at The Hormone Centre?

With your permission we would like to write to your GP with a summary of our assessment and any treatment. We will send you a copy too. The Hormone Centre likes to work with the NHS to make sure that consistency of care is always maintained. If you don’t want your GP notified, then please let a member of the team know.
